Wines inspired by falconry
The wines of Tenute Capovaccaio, in the heart of Puglia in Alberobello, are inspired by the love story between Federico II and falconry. With commitment and dedication, we have created labels that celebrate the ancient art of training falcons, a discipline practiced with passion by the founder of our company, Francesco Pezzolla.
KEEPERS OF A TREASURE
FALCONS AND VINES
Falconers used their birds of prey to hunt birds that damaged the vines and crops, protecting the harvest and ensuring a good production of wine grapes. At Tenute Capovaccaio, we continue this tradition today, with our falcons trained to fly among the vines and scare away birds and animals that could attack the grapes.
TWO WORLDS TOGETHER
AN ANCIENT ART
Falconry and viticulture both represent an art that requires time, knowledge, and dedication to achieve excellent results. These two worlds blend perfectly in our mission: to provide a unique and unforgettable experience to anyone who appreciates the beauty and complexity of human work, in perfect harmony with the cycles of nature.
